Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne recently got an update (Patch 1.28). While previous patches for Warcraft 3 have had no problem installing, this one has been a bit different. After downloading the patch, the game attempts to apply the patch but fails. It halts at 'Updating Battle.net Agent.' Which is about half of the way through. If you installed game download 1.27b patch from Eurobattle.net and move it in your W3 directory after that install it then download Installer v7 install it and wait he will update automatically after that you need to download Patch Switcher 1.27b to 1.28. And extract it also in W3 directory run it and switch to 1.28 after that its ready for DotA.

Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne recently got an update (Patch 1.28).While previous patches for Warcraft 3 have had no problem installing, this one has been a bit different.
After downloading the patch, the game attempts to apply the patch but fails.
It halts at 'Updating Battle.net Agent...' which is about half of the way through.
The log below is the output of wine when I did the following:
1) Launch Warcraft 3 by doing:2) Click 'Battle.net' to launch Battle.net
3) Click 'Restart' when it asked me to in order to apply the patch.

4) Select 'English (US)' in what I believe is Prepatcher.exe and then click 'Continue'.
The attachment is a picture of where it gets stuck.
Some other notes:
1) The problem persists regardless of whether this is a clean wineprefix or not.
2) I have tried a fresh re-installation of Warcraft 3 but the patch application still gets stuck in the same spot (both with and without a clean wineprefix).
3) For anyone else who does play Warcraft 3 and is getting stuck in the same spot, please note that every time I've attempted to re-apply the patch I did a quick:

To remove the old cached Battle.net files from the previous failed download.If you don't do that, launching the Prepatcher will get you stuck at 0% with the message 'Launching Warcraft III...'.
